The famed actor has officially entered the digital age with an Instagram account. While Sandra Bullock refused to join the platform for years, she certainly seems to know her way around it. <p id=”par-2_71″>Sandra Bullock popped up on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/sandrabullock/”>Instagram</a> and shocked absolutely everyone. The <em>Speed</em> actor was famously not on any social media platform and seemed to be loving her life that way. She has changed things up now and appears to have joined Instagram largely to promote her upcoming film, <em>Practical Magic 2</em>. That doesn’t mean it’s all business, though. Bullock made one of her first acts on the platform, trolling Channing Tatum.</p>

<p id=”par-3_65″>During her inaugural spin on the app, Bullock happened upon a fan account that reposted an interview with Channing Tatum. In the interview, Tatum admitted to hating doing laundry so much that he occasionally just buys new shirts. Buloock dropped a drive-by comment, heckling her former co-star. Tatum isn’t the only one she’s left a comment for, Bullock left comments for her other friends, too.</p>
<p id=”par-4_77″>The famed actor seems plenty at home on the app, but might be proving her early concerns were legitimate. When asked why she opted out of social media, Bullock once quipped she’d have one glass of wine and start spouting off in the comments section. From the looks of it, a glass of wine isn’t even needed. Right now, Sandra Bullock has only two Instagram posts but almost 5 million followers. Her comments are not going unnoticed.</p>

<p id=”par-5_59″>While Sandra Bullock has never been outright derogatory about social media, her quiet avoidance of it pretty much said it all. Theories that she actively avoided social media due to privacy concerns have been circulating for years. While she’s mostly quiet on the topic, Bullock did sort of address her disinterest in social media during an interview on SiriusXM.</p>

While Bullock didn’t actually confirm the movie led to her decision, she did admit the research for the 1995 film was eye-opening. Bullock noted that the cast met hackers and gained some insider knowledge from them.</p>
