<p id=”par-2_58″>Following the arrest, the Palace <a href=”https://www.bbc.com/news/live/c70kjr9wjw0t”>released a statement</a> from <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/king-charles/?swcfpc=1″>King Charles</a> that read, “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair, and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. </p>
<p id=”par-3_58″>“In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”</p>

Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.”</p>

However, the Prince of Wales did not look pleased at all that Andrew was trying to talk to him. </p>
<p id=”par-6_67″>Royal author Andrew Lownie told <a href=”https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/royals/prince-william-furious-prince-andrew-35921957″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Mirror</a> that William was “furious” at being ambushed by his uncle at the service, explaining, “He has been at pains to distance himself from his uncle and not be photographed with him. He believes his father has not dealt with him with sufficient firmness and that Andrew — and Sarah Ferguson — have done much to undermine the good work of other members of the royal family.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_58″>Andrew’s new residence is on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, more than 100 miles away from London. His life in the royal spotlight is over and he will likely never be seen with the royal family again. But now, some are wondering what the future king’s stance is on Andrew’s two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. </p>
