<p id=”par-1_27″>Phaedra Parks says <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/rhoa-cast-k-michelle-fan-criticism-doing-my-job.html/”>The Real Housewives of Atlanta</a> </em>focuses too much on the negative aspects of cast members’ lives rather than highlighting more positive and uplifting storylines. </p>
<p id=”par-2_21″>On Tuesday, the attorney and Bravo star took to <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/Db61BSrmhiH/?img_index=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> to share a photo of herself with U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett. </p>
<p id=”par-3_55″>“They showed plenty of Black and broke this season, but not nearly enough Black excellence,” Phaedra captioned the post. “Here’s another scene you didn’t get to see. Thank you to my good sis and great friend, the accomplished, intelligent, and beautiful Congresswoman [Jasmine Crockett] for always representing the epitome of a strong black educated woman.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_35″>Phaedra’s pointed post came shortly after the start of <em>RHOA</em>’s Season 17 reunion. Her disappointment that some key moments were apparently left on the cutting room floor was echoed by commenters on her social media. </p>
<p id=”par-5_46″>“Love this caption! And it’s not even shade! It was a lot of the ladies achievements they filmed this season but we seen more about the negative than positive! … it was also a lot of broke but I’m so called rich activity,” one person wrote. </p>
<p id=”par-6_79″>Other people felt that Phaedra, who returns to <em>RHOA </em>in season 16<em> </em>after a long absence, had been largely side-lined this season. Instead, the show focused on drama involving the other cast members, including Kelli Potter’s money problems following her divorce (she owes more than $200,000 to creditors and is at risk of having her bank accounts seized, <a href=”https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/celebrity/articles/rhoa-star-kelli-potter-bank-144318784.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>according to reports</a>), and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/rhoa-newbie-pinky-cole-files-for-bankruptcy-after-calling-herself-one-of-the-most-powerful-entrepreneurs-in-america-in-s17-trailer.html/”>new Housewife Pinky Cole’</a>s decision to file for bankruptcy following challenges with her restaurant chain, Slutty Vegan. </p>
<p id=”par-7_32″>“If you do file for bankruptcy, we should have a bankruptcy party,” Pinky said to Kelli in one season 17 episode. “You can only come in if you tell your credit score.” </p>
