<p id=”par-2_42″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/hallmark-stars-kevin-mcgarry-kayla-wallace-expecting-first-child.html/”>Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry</a> – who met on the set of <em>When Calls the Heart </em>and have starred in multiple Hallmark movies together – have welcomed their first child. The couple announced their happy news in a Mother’s Day <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DYLNN7TD1kV/”>Instagram</a> post. </p>

<p id=”par-3_41″>“Mother. The newest part of me that became the best part of me the second we met,” Wallace captioned a photo of herself and McGarry holding their baby’s hand. “Motherhood has been the greatest joy of my life. Happy Mother’s Day.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_18″>The couple, who wed in September 2024, announced that they were expecting in a November 2025 <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DQ7kxtVEuSH/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> post. </p>
<p id=”par-5_8″>“Can’t wait to meet you baby,” they wrote. </p>
<p id=”par-6_22″>“This has been such an incredible year,” Wallace told <a href=”https://youtu.be/6bj7ohqr_G8?si=qgARbaHiLV38FWcm” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Entertainment Tonight</a> shortly after announcing her pregnancy. “…It’s really a dream come true.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_31″>McGarry plays a dad to an adoptive daughter on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/watch-when-calls-the-heart-prequel-series-hope-valley-1874-hallmark-plus.html/”><em>When Calls the Hear</em></a><em>t. </em>The <em>Landman </em>star weighed in on whether that on-screen experience of parenthood might help him in real life. </p>
<p id=”par-8_62″>“He didn’t have to change any diapers on the show. So we might need to do some practice in that realm,” Wallace said. “But all the fatherly advice? I think he’ll be alright with that kind of stuff. He’s a pretty wise and wonderful guy. I’m very lucky … we’re here for the journey, and it’s been a wonderful one so far.”</p>

Series star Erin Krakow and her husband and castmate Ben Rosenbaum are also expecting their first child. On Sunday, the pair shared a sweet black-and-white snap of themselves together on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DYL0yiVCs03/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>, which showed both of them cradling Krakow’s baby bump. </p>
<p id=”par-10_7″>“Happy Mother’s Day,” Rosenbaum captioned the post. </p>
<p id=”par-11_13″>In late March, Krakow shared a punny <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DWkp3UJlDbL/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> post related to her pregnancy.</p>
<p id=”par-12_19″>“Bump on a log!” she captioned a photo of herself resting on a wooden bench made of a log. </p>
<p id=”par-13_80″>“P.S. I asked [<em>When Calls the Heart </em>co-star Andrea Brooks] to make this post/pun happen during each of her THREE pregnancies and despite Vancouver having a ton of logs she didn’t do it,” Krakow added. “I have a new level of empathy for her lack of photographic drive now that I’ve reached this point in my own pregnancy. And is this even really a log? It’s more of a bench I guess. I’ll still count it if you will, Andrea.”</p>
