CBS is offering a new way to see what’s going on inside the Big Brother house.

Starting with season 28, the venerable reality series will debut its first-ever live feeds on YouTube. The 24/7 Big Brother live feeds launch on Paramount+ and Pluto TV on Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Feeds will also go live on YouTube at that time and be available for limited periods following each episode throughout the summer. Paramount+ and Pluto subscribers will continue to have exclusive 24/7 access to the live feeds.

The addition of YouTube streaming is a clever way for CBS to lure viewers to its streaming service, Paramount+, as well as its free, ad-supported streaming option, Pluto TV. For loyal Big Brother fans, the addition of YouTube streaming won’t be much of a change. They’ll likely continue to watch on either Paramount+ or Pluto TV. (For season 27, live feed streaming on Paramount+ and Pluto TV was up 35% year-over-year, according to CBS.) But some people will likely stumble onto the live feed on YouTube. And when they discover they aren’t seeing the full picture, they could head straight to other streaming options.

“YouTube becomes a marketing funnel that gives casual viewers a taste of the always-on experience,” noted <a href=”https://programminginsider.com/big-brother-expands-youtube-strategy-with-new-live-fan-experiences-ahead-of-season-28/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Programming Insider. “By placing portions of its live feeds on the world’s largest video platform, CBS is betting that increased accessibility can translate into greater engagement—and potentially new streaming subscribers.”

Paramount+ had 79.6 million subscribers in the first quarter of 2026. The service added 700,000 new subscribers that quarter, slightly lower than its target of 1 million, <a href=”https://deadline.com/2026/05/paramount-q1-earnings-streaming-subscribers-ufc-1236879874/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Deadline reported. Meanwhile, Pluto TV is focused on adding content that appeals to the 18-34 audience.
