Amy turned to Lee Lee after a falling out with her family, including her sister, Tammy Slaton, over her plans to get hitched at a haunted location. </p>

<p id=”par-5_37″>“Some of y’all think Lee Lee a clout chaser,” she wrote in a February 17 post on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DU3JnbYFtUs/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>. “But let’s clear something up — there’s a big difference between clout chasing and being a genuinely good friend.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_21″>Amy went on to say that Lee Lee was “a real friend” who supported her even when the cameras weren’t watching. </p>
<p id=”par-7_32″>“Some people see posts and assume motives,” she added. “What they don’t see is the late-night calls, the real-life support, the tears, the laughs, and the consistency that doesn’t make social media.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_21″>“Lee Lee ain’t chasing clout,” the TLC star wrote. “Lee Lee a real friend — she a true ride or die.”</p>

<p id=”par-11_85″>In <em>1000-lb Sisters, </em>Lee Lee is presented as a new friend of Amy’s. That’s prompted some viewers to wonder about her motives for appearing on the show. But Lee Lee’s connections with Amy and her family might be stronger than they appear. <a href=”https://www.reddit.com/r/1000lbsisters/comments/1qxw2qt/is_this_lee_lee/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Reddit</a> sleuths found evidence that she has been friends with Amy’s sister Amanda for years. It’s possible that the show has decided to have Lee Lee play the role of a new friend in order to step up the drama surrounding Amy’s wedding. </p>
