<p id=”par-1_39″>There have been so many headlines about <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/next-princess-beatrice-princess-eugenie-being-banned-from-royal-events.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s fate and status</a> within the royal family following the revelations about their parents, Sarah Ferguson and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/andrew-mountbatten-windsors-belongings-set-fire-following-king-charles-orders.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor</a>‘s long association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. </p>
<p id=”par-2_48″>Their mother has not appeared in public since the U.S. Department of Justice released millions of Epstein documents in January, which featured Sarah and Andrew’s names hundreds of times, and after their father’s eviction from Royal Lodge, he moved more than 100 miles away from Windsor to Sandringham.</p>
<p id=”par-3_72″>On Feb. 19, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/not-so-royal-andrew-mountbatten-windsor-treated-11-hours-under-arrest.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Andrew was arrested</a> for suspicion of misconduct in public office, prompting the Palace to release a statement from King Charles about his brother that read: “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair, and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.</p>

<p id=”par-5_19″>Many began to question with their parents <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/royal-exile-king-charles-refused-see-brother-andrew-despite-staying-just-five-minutes-away.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>living in exile</a> what that meant for Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. </p>
<p id=”par-6_48″>There were several reports that the sisters had been banned from some upcoming family events, including Royal Ascot this summer. However, while Andrew’s daughters will not attend the Easter Matins service and those holiday celebrations at Windsor, King Charles has invited both princesses to the Royal Ascot. </p>

<p id=”par-7_27″>But not everyone thinks that Beatrice and Eugenie showing up at that event is a good idea. In fact, some experts are warning them to “stay away.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_33″>Royal biographer Robert Jobson warned the siblings not to attend Ascot amid the scrutiny facing their parents, insisting that the Epstein scandal is “dark, murky and won’t go away” anytime soon. </p>
<p id=”par-9_54″>He told <a href=”https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/royals/princesses-beatrice-eugenie-urged-stay-36958369″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Sun’s <em>Royal Exclusive </em>podcast</a>, “I think they’ve got to stay away. I think they have to stay away. You’re just drawing attention to them. As soon as they’re in the carriage with someone at Ascot, we’ll all be focusing on what they’re wearing, what they’re doing and who is with them.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_57″>News commentator Samara Gill agreed that both the York sisters have been “tarnished with the Epstein brush,” adding, “I don’t think there’s any getting out of that or rinsing themselves of that for a very long time. They socially mountaineered themselves into good marriages, and they can just afford to go off and live their own life.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_35″>Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing regarding his relationship with Epstein, but has not made any public comments after his arrest. Andrew’s ex-wife has not spoken out publicly since the Epstein docs were released. </p>
