And you may even have that catchy opening number from the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/tv/”>TV show</a> going through your head right now. </p>
<p id=”par-2_59″>The series aired from 1990 to 1996 and made <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/did-will-smith-ever-have-a-no-1-hit-when-he-was-a-rapper.html/”>Will Smith</a>, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Alfonso Ribeiro, and others household names. And everyone remembers that house in the opening scene that Smith’s character pulls up to before getting out and knocking on the door. Now, that iconic home can be yours, if you have an extra $30 million lying around.</p>

<p id=”par-4_30″>While the home’s exterior was featured prominently on the sitcom, the interior wasn’t seen on camera which is why many are curious about what the inside actually looks like. </p>
<p id=”par-5_32″>The Georgian Colonial house, which was built in 1937, has about 10,000 square feet of living space and is situated on a 38,510-square-foot corner lot. The residence boasts six bedrooms with seven-and-a-half bathrooms.</p>
<p id=”par-6_31″>Some of the estate’s other amenities include a pool, a spacious backyard, areas for entertaining, and rooms that have been remodeled and updated several times over the last 20 years. </p>
<p id=”par-7_49″>According to the property’s listing, “Beyond its cultural significance, the estate offers rare scale, privacy surrounded by some of the city’s most notable estates. The expansive grounds allow for endless possibilities, whether preserving its historic charm, further enhancing the existing residence, or re-imagining the property for a new generation.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_35″>Since location is everything to some home buyers, you should know that this mansion is<em> not</em> located in Bel Air. It’s actually in Brentwood, which is about a 15-minute drive from Bel Air. </p>
<p id=”par-9_49″>The gorgeous home that was the facade for the hit comedy is listed by real etate agent Sasha Rahban who was really “born and raised” inside the home. He is co-listing the property with Josh Altman of <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/million-dollar-listing/”>Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles</a></em>. Rahban’s family purchased the house in 1978. </p>
<p id=”par-10_87″>“In 1990 we were approached for this new TV show,” Rahban told <a href=”https://www.mansionglobal.com/articles/real-estate-agent-born-and-raised-in-the-fresh-prince-of-bel-air-mansion-is-now-selling-it-384907fc” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Mansion Global</a>. “[Producers] selected our house, even though it wasn’t in Bel-Air. They did a few days of filming the exterior, the pool, the front, and Will Smith came. We didn’t know how big the show was going to be. The first time I watched with my family on Monday at 8 p.m. We had no idea what the show would be about. They kept showing the house over and over again, it was very exciting.” </p>
<p id=”par-11_48″>Rahban added that in time their house “started to become recognized throughout the world” and turned into a tourist hot spot, where there were “always buses and celebrity tours coming by and people coming by in droves.” Rahban says the sitcom adds a star value in selling the home.</p>
