<p id=”par-1_14″>Amani Jlassi is a one and done <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/controversial-90-day-fiance-star-amani-jlassi-celebrates-haters.html/”><em>90 Day Fiancé </em>cast member</a>, she says. </p>
<p id=”par-2_69″>The San Diego mom of two appeared on season 11 of the TLC reality series, along with her husband Matt. The pair were <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/this-is-poly-throuple-family-verdict-controversial-lifestyle-disgrace-exclusive-clip.html/”>part of a throuple</a> with a Mexican woman named Any, whom they were attempting to bring to the U.S. But if any fans were interested in seeing the next chapter of the controversial pair’s story on one of <em>90 Day</em>‘s many spinoffs, they’re out of luck. </p>
<p id=”par-3_39″>“I think it’s time to talk about the elephant in the room, which is why I decided to leave<em> 90 Day Fiancé </em>and reality TV in general,” Amani said in a video she shared on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DYUwZ0mA43t/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> on May 14. </p>

’90 Day Fiancé’ Isn’t Amani and Matt’s First Reality TV Show </a>

<p id=”par-4_35″>Amani – who also appeared with Matt on the Netflix series <em>How to Get Rich </em>– said she decided to pursue reality TV as a way to build on her successful career in tech sales.</p>
<p id=”par-5_18″>“My goal on getting on reality TV [was to] take my life even a step further,” she explained. </p>
<p id=”par-6_21″>But she soon realized that life as a reality TV personality and influencer wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. </p>
<p id=”par-7_42″>“It’s fake. Let’s face it, it’s fake … everything is staged in the videos you watch,” she said. People film in Airbnbs, stage scenes, and use props to present a false version of their lives on TV and social media, she said. </p>

<p id=”par-8_19″>Amani admitted that she did make money by sharing her life with the public. But it wasn’t worth it. </p>
<p id=”par-9_58″>“I’ve made money from both my reality TV shows, on Netflix and TLC, for my time, my reimbursements, and brand deals,” she said. “But the consequences of having a digital footprint forever [are] far more damaging than is the money you make in the short run. In my case, I had much more to lose than to win.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_27″>“At this point in my life, I’d rather be living my dream in private than … to pretend to be living my dream in public,” she added. </p>
<p id=”par-11_57″>“So no, I have zero intention of going back on <em>90 Day Fiancé </em>or any reality TV for that matter, unless it’s like, <em>Shark Tank </em>or something business-related,” she continued. “I’m very, very grateful for the community that follows me and supports me but I’m here to motivate and inspire so you can change your life around.”</p>
