Pam Bondi “Put All Blame on Todd Blanche,” Says Congressman

AG Pam Bondi

U.S. Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA), who worked with Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) on the discharge petition to get the DOJ and FBI to release the complete Epstein Files, said that President Trump’s former Attorney General Pam Bondi blamed her successor, current acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, for the handling of the Epstein Files.

On Friday, while being questioned by the House Oversight Committee in a closed-door interview, Bondi reportedly said Blanche was managing “the entire investigation.”

[NOTE: After repeatedly calling the Epstein Files “a hoax,” in November President Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a federal law that requires the DOJ to publish all unclassified records, documents, and investigative materials related to the investigation and prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Of the reported 6 million pages, nearly 3.5 million pages have been released “in compliance with the Act,” according to Blanche, who has said no more will be released.]

After Bondi’s testimony on Friday, The New York Times reported: “Current and former Justice Department officials, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss internal conversations, disputed Ms. Bondi’s characterization. She was not only informed of every key development in the Epstein case, they said, but signed off on every major decision — including by issuing a memo in July 2025 that formally ended the government’s review of the files.”

On MS NOW’s This Weekend, Khanna noted that there hasn’t been a single investigation or prosecution since the release of the Epstein files. He also drew attention to reports that the DOJ is investigating E. Jean Carroll, “a sexual assault survivor.”

Sharing the interview above, Khanna wrote: “In Fmr. Attorney General Pam Bondi’s testimony on the Epstein files, she put all the blame on Todd Blanche. That means we need Blanche to testify next. She also hasn’t explained why survivor statements to the FBI were redacted in March ‘25. We demand and will pursue transparency.”
