Garrison Brown has been laid to rest.
According to an Instagram post shared this week by Garrison’s cousin, Emma, the funeral took place back on Match 9… four days after the Sister Wives star committed suicide in Flagstaff, Arizona.
He was 25 years old.

“dear robert, i had to dress up for your funeral today and this is everything i wish you could’ve heard before i had to say goodbye,” Emma wrote in the caption alongside photos of her cousin, adding:
“i don’t even own a picture of you without your contagious smile. i don’t know if i have the right words to say i’ll miss you.
“i wish i was able to give you a hug and tell you how much you were loved. you were human, you had flaws but never once did i doubt the friendship we had.”
Based on the official police report, Garrison’s body was discovered by his brother, Gabriel, last Tuesday after Garrison sent a text message that prompted concern.
“I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days,” this message read, which was sent to a number of acquaintances.
Emma continued as follows in her tribute:
“i’ll always cherish the times i got to spend with you.
“we planned to go on so many backpacking trips but only made it to one. i’ll miss your goofy dad jokes, our coffee runs, the dinners we shared. the times we watched movies and you always let me put messy face masks all over our faces.”

She then concluded:
“you always made sure that i had ate, and made sure i knew i could always talk to you.
“you were a son, a brother, a soldier, and a friend. if there is a god i hope he’s giving you peace. i love you robert.”
Garrison appeared on a number of Sister Wives episodes over the years.
Over the past couple of seasons, his estrangement from father Kody was a major storyline on the show… as Garrison stopped talking to his dad due to Kody’s strict COVID-19 protocols.
From what we’ve gathered, father and son were not on good terms at the time Garrison died, either.

Via the aforementioned police report, Garrison’s roommates disclosed to authorities the day after their friend killed himself that Garrison had been dealing with substance abuse, with one of them claiming Garrison “drinks every night.”
This same roommate said she and Garrison had been talking of late about Depression.
The document went on to say that Addison “stated that he knew that [Garrison] was having problems with his ex-girlfriend and that he was not a very happy person.”
Previously, Charles M. Hernandez II of the Flagstaff Police Department confirmed that there “is not any indication of foul play” and that Brown was found “deceased” by his sibling in an apparent suicide.

In the days since this tragedy took place, numerous Sister Wives cast members have expressed their sadness and sorrow over social media.
The latest comes from Mykelti Brown Padron, who is Robert’s half sibling and who penned a heartbreaking tribute to him online Monday.
After sharing two quotes about pain and experiencing love, Mykelti wrote:
“My heart breaks for my brother who’s no longer with us but it rejoices knowing he’s with his fellow warriors in Valhalla drinking and fighting with Odin.
“I hope he is loving his place amongst the stars. Garrison was always the funniest person in the room. He was one cool dude and I cry so much because my kinda will never be able to experience his fun presence.
“But he will live on in all my families memories.
“Have fun up with the stars little bro, you’re missed.”
