The Baltimore Ravens are one step closer to the regular season.
With training camp underway, Baltimore’s three-game preseason schedule is set, giving fans their first opportunity to see the team’s rookies, newcomers and players battling for roster spots before the regular season begins.
While much of the starting lineup appears settled, the preseason will play a major role in determining several positions, including wide receiver, center and outside linebacker.
Here’s a look at the Ravens’ preseason schedule and the biggest position battles to watch over the next several weeks.
Ravens 2026 Preseason Schedule
Week 1: Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens
Date: Aug. 15
Time: 7 p.m. ET
Location: M&T Bank Stadium
TV: NBC10 (Philadelphia), WBAL-TV (Baltimore)
Baltimore opens the preseason at home against the defending Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles.
The game will give fans their first extended look at the Ravens’ rookie class, including third-round wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane, who has generated significant buzz throughout spring workouts and training camp.
Week 2: Baltimore Ravens at Minnesota Vikings
Date: Aug. 22
Time: 1 p.m. ET
Location: U.S. Bank Stadium
TV: WBAL-TV (Baltimore), Fox 9 (Minneapolis), ESPN App
The Ravens will travel to Minnesota after holding joint practices with the Vikings, giving both teams some familiarity before kickoff.
This game could feature the most playing time for Baltimore’s starters, although Lamar Jackson and many other veterans are still expected to see limited action.
Week 3: Washington Commanders at Baltimore Ravens
Date: Aug. 28
Time: 6 p.m. ET
Location: M&T Bank Stadium
TV: WUSA9 (Washington), WBAL-TV (Baltimore), NFL Network
Baltimore wraps up the preseason at home against the Commanders following another series of joint practices.
With final roster cuts due two days later, this matchup will likely represent the final opportunity for players on the bubble to earn a spot on the initial 53-man roster.
Three Ravens Position Battles to Watch
Although the Ravens enter camp with much of their starting lineup in place, several jobs remain worth monitoring.
Center
Veteran Ethan Pocic appears to have the inside track after signing with Baltimore despite recovering from an Achilles injury.
Head coach Jesse Minter recently said, “He’ll definitely have an opportunity to show what he can do with the first group.”
Danny Pinter and Jovaughn Gwyn remain in the mix, but Pocic is widely viewed as the favorite if he’s healthy entering Week 1.
Wide Receiver No. 2
Rashod Bateman currently leads the competition, but Devontez Walker and rookie Ja’Kobi Lane continue pushing for more opportunities.
Bateman recently embraced the changes under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle.
“We’ve got a new energy,” Bateman said after Thursday’s practice. “A new offense … I’m doing things I’ve never done before.”
Lane has generated considerable excitement early in camp, though Baltimore may ease him into a larger role as the season progresses.
Outside Linebacker
Tavius Robinson enters camp as the favorite over Zion Young and Adisa Isaac.
Robinson has continued earning praise from coaches because of his ability to defend the run while developing as a pass rusher.
With Trey Hendrickson expected to anchor the opposite side, the Ravens view Robinson as a player capable of handling early-down responsibilities while continuing to expand his role.
