<p id=”par-1_19″>Mama June Shannon is spilling the tea about her daughter Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon’s split from her wife, Shyann McCant. </p>
<p id=”par-2_49″>Jessica and Shyann legally tied the knot in February 2025, and their October 2025 wedding ceremony was prominently featured in the most recent season of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/lauryn-pumpkin-efirds-boyfriend-speaks-onlyfans.html/”><em>Mama June: From Not to Hot</em></a><em>. </em>But shortly after viewers watched the pair pledge their love to each other, they announced they’d split up. </p>

<p id=”par-3_60″>“As most of y’all can tell, me and Shyann are no longer together. We mutually decided that it was the best decision for both of us,” Jessica wrote in a joint <a href=”https://www.facebook.com/jessica.shannon.927/posts/as-most-of-yall-can-tell-me-and-shyann-are-no-longer-together-we-mutually-decide/26989793380680514/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Facebook</a> post with Shyann in June 2026. “Yes, we are still friends, and yes, we are both cordial with each other, but we are no longer in a relationship.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_15″>But Jessica’s tale of an amicable separation isn’t the whole truth, according to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/mama-june-shannon-warns-todd-julie-chrisley-pardon-may-not-slap-wrist-next-time.html/”>Mama June</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-5_84″>“Well since I’m always to [be] the blame for every relationships not working out and since it was shared publicly and yall have been wanting to see who Shyann cheated with and left Jessica for here you go,” she wrote in a July 21 <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DbESBhRCSWJ/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> post, which included a photo of Jessica and Shyann enjoying a meal at a restaurant with several other people. “McKenzie is in the middle of them in the red shirt yall are welcome so everyone can stop digging [now].”</p>
<p id=”par-6_107″>Mama June’s pot-stirring is the latest twist in a wild saga involving Jessica and Shyann. In the May 2026 finale of the family’s We TV reality series<em>, </em>Jessica’s sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon revealed her ex-husband, Josh Efird, had a threesome with the pair – a bombshell that left everyone in the family speechless. According to Pumpkin, Josh jumped into bed with his sister-in-law and her wife after he found out Pumpkin had cheated on him with his cousin, Darrin. For her part, Shyann claimed she only slept with Josh in an attempt to get pregnant. The couple also asked Josh to officiate their wedding. Talk about messiness.</p>

<p id=”par-7_40″>Soon after Mama June went public with the cheating allegations against her former daughter-in-law, Shyann shared her side of the story. She admitted to stepping out on Jessica, but said she only did so because the relationship was already broken. </p>
<p id=”par-8_119″>“Since June has made it everyone’s business, I’ll go ahead and address it,” Shyann wrote on <a href=”https://www.facebook.com/shyann.mccant” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Facebook</a>. “I’m not going to make excuses for what I have done. What hasn’t been shared is that I had been asking Jessie for a divorce for months because I wasn’t happy. I expressed how I felt repeatedly, including that issues involving her mother were a big reason I wanted out. Nothing changed, and despite asking for a divorce more than once, it wasn’t happening. That doesn’t make what I did right, and I take full responsibility for my actions. But relationships are rarely as simple as they appear from the outside, and there was a lot more going on than people know.”</p>
<p id=”par-9_4″>Jessica then weighed in. </p>
<p id=”par-10_50″>“With everything going on, I guess it’s time to tell my side,” she wrote in her own <a href=”https://www.facebook.com/jessica.shannon.927/posts/pfbid0SLns9Yeg2BVWtLYjgUZ1wyswoKowGquY9dBFrGKfzRe2EFRFmnzj8MBwvjRcwNiil” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Facebook</a> post. “Yes, I knew Shyann and Mackenzie are together. Do I care? Honestly, no. Was the way everything happened crazy? Sure. Was I hurt at first? Absolutely. But that’s in the past.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_42″>“At the end of the day, all I want is for everyone to be happy. I’m cool with both of them … So yes, I knew,” she added. “No, I don’t care. And no, I don’t care about anyone else’s opinions either.”</p>
