Cleveland Cavaliers Announce Updated Injury Report For Bulls Game

On Thursday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be in Chicago for a showdown with the Bulls at the United Center.

The Cavs most recently beat the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 123-116.

James Harden led the way with 27 points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals while shooting 7/10 from the field and 2/4 from three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.

For Thursday’s game, the Cavs have announced their injury report.

The Cavs have announced that they will be without Jarrett Allen, Craig Porter Jr., Tyrese Proctor and Olivier Sarr.

Donovan Mitchell has been downgraded to questionable.

Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com wrote (on March 17): “#Cavs Donovan Mitchell took some friendly fire the other day from Evan Mobley and Mitchell’s left eye is all red and bloodshot. Doesn’t look great. I’m sure you will be able to see it on TV tonight during the game.”

Mitchell is in the middle of another incredible season with averages of 28.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 47.9% from the field and 36.4% from three-point range in 61 games.

He is in his fourth year with the Cavs (after five with the Utah Jazz).

The Cavs are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-27 record in 69 games.

They have won five out of their last ten games (and are 20-14 in 34 games on the road away from Ohio).

Following the Bulls, the Cavs will play their next game on Saturday when they visit Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans.

As for the Bulls, they are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-41 record in 69 games.

They have won four out of their last ten games.

Following the Cavs, the Bulls will play their next game on Monday night when they remain at the United Center to host Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets.

Back in December, the Bulls beat the Cavs by a score of 136-125 (in Ohio).
