<p id=”par-2_64″>Some have opined that Sarah had been hiding out in the UAE, or fled to her sister’s residence in Australia, or was lying low at her daughter Princess Eugenie’s home in Portugal. Well, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/why-is-sarah-ferguson-still-a-duchess-after-her-divorce-from-prince-andrew.html/”>the former Duchess of York</a>, who left the U.K. in late January after the release of more Epstein files in which her name appeared numerous times, has finally been spotted. </p>
<p id=”par-3_24″>According to the <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/royals/article-15594915/Sarah-Ferguson-wellness-retreat-Donegal.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Daily Mail</a>, Sarah has been staying at a remote Irish wellness retreat called the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa in Donegal. </p>
<p id=”par-4_82″>Fergie previously spent time there in 2024 and revealed that she found solace at the spa, saying, “I find things get sometimes overwhelming. I just try and take myself off to the most beautiful, wonderful blast of fresh air … Looking at the ocean, looking at the beach, looking at the shells. It’s great to be in the wind and just getting fresh air on my face. The benefits of getting some fresh air every day really can do wonders for you.”</p>

<p id=”par-5_24″>The publication recently reported that Sarah also checked into the luxury $17,000-a-day Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland, from late December through January. </p>
<p id=”par-6_47″>A source told <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15577273/Sarah-Ferguson-wellness-clinic-friendship-Jeffrey-Epstein.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Mail</a>: “Sarah left for Zurich just after Christmas, and stayed until the end of January. She always feels at home at Paracelsus, and knows she’ll get love and attention there, as well as expert health treatment when she’s feeling at her most vulnerable.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_43″>A royal insider shared: “Last time Sarah visited Donegal, she spoke about how it was somewhere she could escape to when things were ‘overwhelming’ — and they can’t ever have been more overwhelming for her than they have been in recent weeks. </p>
<p id=”par-8_65″>“And just as she did with the Zurich trip, she knew what she was going to do in Donegal, as she’d been there before, and that it was very remote and very discrete so there was minimal chance of her presence becoming known to the wider world. She seems to be very keen indeed to avoid being seen while she works out what to do next.”</p>
