Welcome to the Bay Area News Group (Mercury News & East Bay Times) girls Athlete of the Week poll.
For the entire academic year, we will provide a list of candidates who stood out over the previous week and allow you, the reader, to vote for the winner.
This week, we consider performances from Nov. 11-17.
Polls close at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Vote as many times as you’d like until then without using bots or any other artificial methods of voting.
Votes by email and after 5 p.m. Wednesday are not counted.

Winners are announced each Friday online and in the print edition of the Mercury News and East Bay Times sports sections.
Candidates for future Athlete of the Week polls can be nominated at highschools@bayareanewsgroup.com.
We accept nominations until 11 a.m. each Monday.
We also review stats submitted to MaxPreps by coaches/team statisticians.
On to the nominees:
Milla Bardony, Menlo School tennis: Bardony, a sophomore, went 4-0 throughout the CCS championships, winning both of her singles matches and two doubles matches with teammate Ana Yang.
Jessica Blake, Alhambra flag football: Blake, a senior, passed for three touchdowns as Alhambra upset No. 2 California in the NCS semifinals. She added three passing TDs as Alhambra lost to Alameda in overtime of the NCS title game.
Natalie Buck, San Ramon Valley water polo: Buck scored three goals, leading top-seeded SRV to a 9-7 win over Las Lomas in the NCS Division I championship.
Nora Carino, Evergreen Valley cross country: Carino, a sophomore, won the CCS Division I girls individual championship with a time of 18:20.0.
Kinga Czajkowska, Palo Alto cross country: Czajkowska, a senior, won the CCS Division II girls individual championship with a time of 18:02.2. It was the third-fastest time recorded at the overall meet on Saturday at Crystal Springs.
Josie Haast, Carondelet water polo: Haast, a junior, scored three goals and added an assist as Carondelet beat top seed Campolindo 8-6 to win the NCS Open Division title.
Kylie Hoornaert, Prospect cross country: Hoornaert, a senior, won the CCS Division III girls individual championship with a time of 17:48.8. It was the best time recorded by any girl across all CCS cross country championships on Saturday.
Brooke Oliveira, Castilleja cross country: Oliveira, a sophomore, won the CCS Division V girls individual championship with a time of 17:56.7, the second-fastest time recorded on Saturday.
Miya Pierre, Leigh water polo: Pierre scored four goals to lead all players as Leigh edged Los Altos 9-8 in the CCS Division I title game.
Aaliyah Soderlund, Alameda flag football: Soderlund, a senior, scored seven touchdowns across the NCS semifinal and championship games, leading Alameda to the first-ever NCS flag football championship.
Natalia Szcerba, Sacred Heart Prep water polo: Szcerba, a senior, scored four goals to help lead SHP to a 12-2 win over Soquel in the CCS Open Division championship game.
