Photos: Footballs go flying at Hiller Aviation Museum before the big game
Aviation and football fans alike turned out in droves to participate in Hiller Aviation Museum’s “Flying Football Fun Fest” before today’s Super Bowl. Children ran around with parachutes, similar to how some athletes train, remote-controlled robots controlled by children and adults participated in the Bot Bowl, and guests toured planes, among other activities, before the finale of hundreds of miniature footballs dropped via a low-flying helicopter.
According to the museum’s website, “Join the excitement of the big game as the Hiller Aviation Museum explores the combination of football and flight in a family-friendly extravaganza!” The fest was included in the regular admission price.
