Lotto ticket worth more than $226,000 sold at Mountain View convenience store

MOUNTAIN VIEW — A Fantasy 5 lottery game ticket worth $226,216 was sold Wednesday at a convenience store here, officials said.

The unknown player was one of four statewide to split the total jackpot of $904,864, one of the highest in the game’s history.

The winning numbers were 1, 17, 33, 37 and 39.

The ticket was sold at Food and Beverages, 820 E El Camino Real, Suite A. The store could not immediately be reached for comment.

The other three top prize tickets were sold in Redding, Santa Ana and Fontana.

The winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.

Fantasy 5 is played every night of the week. Thursday’s jackpot was to be at least $80,000 officials said.
