How to watch Bay FC’s season opener against the Utah Royals on Saturday

Bay FC opens the 2025 season against the Utah Royals FC on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. PT at  America First Field in Sandy, Utah.

Bay’s inaugural season in 2024 ended with a playoff berth as the club lost in extra to the Washington Spirit in a first-round match.

The 2025 season has been off to a tumultuous start as last year’s starting goalkeeper, Katelyn Rowland, retired during training camp and the NWSL confirmed it was investigating reports of a “toxic” coaching culture at the club. Head coach Albertin Montoya acknowledged the probe but declined to talk about it earlier this week.

On the pitch, the team returns star forwards Asisat Oshoala and Racheal Kundananji, as well as defensive stalwarts Emily Menges and Abby Dahlkemper, a Bay Area product who arrived midseason in 2024 and helped propel the team to the playoffs.
