Deadpool and Wolverine return to Disneyland in ‘naughty’ holiday show

The Merc with a Mouth is back again with a “naughty” holiday version of his wildly popular “Story Time with Deadpool” at the Disneyland resort that takes comedic aim DC Comics, the Main Street Electrical Parade and his “grumpy gumdrop” super hero buddy Wolverine.

“The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special” kicked off over the weekend near Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure.

The 8-minute show plays six times a day in the queue area of DCA’s unused Hyperion Theater with Wolverine often making a cameo appearance.

Deadpool reads his own versions of Christmas holiday tales which make the short and fun shows “highly repeatable,” according to MiceChat.

Santa Pool arrives aboard a rainbow unicorn reindeer for what he promises will be a “not at all inappropriate” reading of a “seasonal tale from the public domain.”

The racy-by-Disney-standards show skirts the line of good taste with references to shimmying down chimneys, jingling holiday bells and making the naughty list without any of the R-rated language from the “Deadpool & Wolverine” movie.

The “huge climax” generally involves Wolverine showing up to engage in some biting back-and-forth banter and help wrap up the brief show.

There are plenty of references throughout to Disney+ now streaming “Deadpool & Wolverine” — the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.

“Disney+ is literally paying for all of this,” Deadpool said during one show.
