Silver Creek baseball player Noah Medina is the Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week for March 17-22.
In the boys poll, Medina had 35.47% of the vote to edge runner-up Dionisios Vorrises, a Burlingame baseball player who finished at 34.23%. Serra baseball player Nate Hui placed third.
Medina hit a walk-off single to lift Silver Creek over Gunderson 11-10 in eight innings.
