Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Hunter Coleman, Menlo School water polo

Menlo School water polo player Hunter Coleman is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Nov. 4-9.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Coleman finished with 33.96% of the vote. Alameda football player Christian DeGuzman took second at 32.18%.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Coleman, a freshman, scored six goals, stole five passes and drew three exclusions as Menlo beat Santa Cruz 16-6 in the CCS Open Division quarterfinals.
