U.S. 6 closed over Loveland Pass for safety concerns

U.S. 6 is closed in both directions over Loveland Pass because of safety concerns, according to the Colorado Department of Transporation.

The highway is closed between mile point 222, east of Keystone Resort, to Interstate 70.

The road is icy and snow-packed in spots, CDOT officials said.

This is a developing story and may be updated.
