<p id=”par-1_40″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/sarah-ferguson-upset-over-leaked-photos-austrian-hideout.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Sarah Ferguson</a> and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/embarrassing-andrew-mountbatten-windsor-didnt-know-use-credit-card-machine.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor</a> were married in 1986, but separated in 1992 before divorcing in 1996. And it’s no secret that <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/why-is-sarah-ferguson-still-a-duchess-after-her-divorce-from-prince-andrew.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>the former duchess</a> had a complicated relationship with some members of the royal family over the years. </p>
<p id=”par-2_41″>According to biographer Andrew Lownie’s book <em>Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York</em>, there were two royals in particular whom Sarah couldn’t stand. Lownie told the <a href=”https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/2204365/sarah-ferguson-royals-hated” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Daily Express</a> what a staffer he spoke to said about that. </p>
<p id=”par-3_75″>“The assistant saw little of Andrew, who was so foul the staff walked on eggshells when he was around,” the author wrote. “The two daughters [Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie], she felt, were very much under the control of their mother but embarrassed by her behavior. Sarah talked endlessly about having messed up her relationship with [Princess Diana] and about her love of the Queen [Elizabeth II] — she hated [Prince] Philip and [Prince] Edward.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_79″>Sarah’s fallout with her former father-in-law was highly publicized as Prince Philip did not hold back about how he felt when Fergie’s <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/who-is-john-bryan-the-man-involved-in-sarah-fergusons-toe-sucking-scandal.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>toe-sucking scandal with John Bryan</a> made headlines while she was still married to Andrew. The salacious story was an embarrassment for the royal family and something that Philip was livid about. Even after Sarah and his son divorced, he was still upset with her over her extramarital affairs and inability to keep her name out of the headlines.</p>

<p id=”par-5_57″>As for Fergie’s relationship with Andrew’s younger brother, she and Prince Edward did get along for years until the press found out that the prince was dating Sophie in the early ’90s. In the book titled <em>Prince Edward</em>, by royal author Ingrid Seward, she explained that Edward believed Fergie had contacted someone from the media and leaked the information.</p>
<p id=”par-6_35″>“Initially, Edward got on well with the exuberant redhead. Everyone did,” Seward shared. “On occasion, Sarah would drive into Soho and join Prince Edward and [theatre director] Biddy Hayward for lunch at a nearby bistro.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_19″>However, after the press learned who the private prince was dating, he was “convinced” Fergie was behind the leak.</p>
<p id=”par-8_50″>“There were to be no more lunches with Prince Edward … he became convinced that she had leaked the information about Sophie to her press contacts,” Seaward wrote, before adding that it was later found out that “the source was in fact an employee, not a member of the royal family.”</p>
<p id=”par-9_25″>Edward’s insistence on blaming Sarah before the truth came out is likely one of the reasons why she ended up disliking him so much. </p>

The move to evict Sarah from the royal residence she and Andrew shared for several years came after more of her ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein came to light. The decision was made by King Charles ad it’s been reported that Sarah is very upset with the monarch for how harshly she was punished and could be plotting revenge against the Palace. </p>
<p id=”par-11_70″>British commentator Mark Dolan said, “[Fergie] feels that she’s been thrown under the bus, that it was Andrew’s ill-advised relationship with the disgraced ex-financier and therefore, she’s got the record to set straight. She needs the cash, and it’s very possible that she will sign a million-dollar deal to spill the beans. The big problem is for [King] Charles because this whole scandal threatens to taint his entire reign as monarch.”</p>
