Patrick Kane ranks second in NHL scoring among US-born players

Patrick Kane twice assisted to move up to second place on the NHL’s all-time points list among US-born players.

Kane has 1,232 points to his credit and is 142 points behind Mike Modano, who is leading with 1,374 points. Both of Kane’s assists came in the second half as the New York Rangers crushed the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kane’s efforts helped his team win the game 6-0.
