A surprise: The model is very popular with Martin Truex Jr., even though he is 22-1 away from Atlanta at the last NASCAR 2023 odds. It is a destination for anyone looking for a big payday. The 42-year-old made his 625th career start in the NASCAR Cup Series in Phoenix last week, but he’s still going strong. Truex is sixth in the NASCAR standings, having finished at least 17th in the first four races and leading laps in two of those events.
Toyota hasn’t been able to match Chevrolet’s pace in 2023, but with the parity created by the next-gen car, it’s only a matter of time before Joe Gibbs Racing and the rest of the Camrys dial in. Truex is a 31-time NASCAR Cup Series winner and while he’s never been on the Atlanta Victory Road, he’s knocking on the door.
