The fans are happy so see him enjoying life
Australian F1 star Daniel Ricciardo was spotted partying in Las Vegas alongside superstar dance-music duo The Chainsmokers just days before the Australian GP – and fans are over the moon to see he’s finally having fun after he survived a horror run with McLaren.
Ricciardo, 33, will be watching from the sidelines this year after being dumped by the British team for upstart Oscar Piastri after a poor 2022 campaign that left many questioning his future in the sport.
The fan favorite has since returned to Red Bull as the third driver, where he has won seven Grands Prix, meaning his main responsibilities will include testing, commercial activities and simulator work.
After a somber few years at McLaren, where the Australian admitted he had fallen into a cycle of negativity, Ricciardo seems to be loving life now that there’s a lot less pressure on him.
The ‘Honey Badger’ proved just how relaxed he is recently when he was spotted partying with the Chainsmokers at Las Vegas’ Encore Beach Club.

The Perth-born star is still one of the most popular F1 drivers in the world and fans were thrilled to see him smile.
“Live your best life like it should,” one fan tweeted.
‘Daniel and the chain smokers ahhh life is good!!!’ said another.
‘THE SMILE??? THE RINGS??? THE SUNGLASSES??? I’m obsessed,” commented a third.
Ricciardo recently spoke about his ambitions for 2023 in a LinkedIn post.
“This is the first year since I can remember that my goals will not be 100% racing and competing,” he wrote.
“I’m back in an environment and ultimately family that I have a lot of good memories with and it feels really good to be back there.
“But this year isn’t about me, it’s about the broader team and trying to contribute and help them where I can.

The Perth-born star has expressed his desire to spend more time in America
“Jumping into the simulator, getting to know their car and helping shape the development are all things that I focus on.
“That in turn will boost my skills, my confidence and my joy at the wheel.”
The 33-year-old has long expressed a desire to spend more time in the USA, having grown very fond of the country in recent years.
“When I eventually stop racing and have some free time, I want to do a road trip across America,” he told Beyond The Grid podcast host Tom Clarkson.
“I also think what a 110 [100cc motorbike] Walking across America would symbolize slowing down and just absorbing everything.
“We’re always thinking about getting somewhere as soon as possible, getting work done, getting out, and it’s like, no, I want to soak it all up and just be.”
Ricciardo has confirmed he will be appearing at his home Grand Prix from this week – but mainly for meet and greets around the track.
