Wind advisory issued for Antelope Valley Foothills until 3 a.m. Tuesday

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 3:07 a.m. on Sunday in effect until Tuesday, Mar. 4 at 3 a.m. for Eastern Antelope Valley Foothills.

“West winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph,” can be expected according to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA. “There is a good chance that windy conditions could extend through Tuesday and Tuesday evening.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
