You don’t have to go to the United Arab Emirates to sample the latest TikTok sensation out of Dubai.
It’s been called the Dubai chocolate bar, and according to CNN it’s the creation of “the world’s newest Willie Wonka,” Sarah Hamouda of Fix Dessert Chocolatier.
The candy bars feature fillings such as pistachio coated with hand-decorated chocolate.
TikTok influencers have racked up tens of millions of views by breaking them apart and eating them on camera.
Sea of Sweet in Rancho Cucamonga makes a version of them in small batches that take about a half hour to prepare. Customers line up, first come, first served, on an honor basis.
The chocolate bars cost $15.60, compared with the $39.90 Amazon is charging for “the original” Dubai Chocolate Kunafa Pistachio. Shipping is free and usually takes five to six days.
On a recent visit, Sea of Sweet was full, heavy on the Gen Z.
Sea of Sweet also serves sweet and savory crepes, desserts such as knafeh and baklava, beverages such as Lebanese jallab juice, smoothies and coffee.
