Bingo Loco

Bingo may have a reputation for senior centers and traditional casinos, but there’s a new game in town that brings a massive party ambiance. Bingo Loco flips the traditional game on its head by turning it into a three-hour stage show that features dance-offs, rave rounds, lip sync battles, throwback anthems, confetti showers, CO2 cannons and conga lines. It also awards a plethora of grand prizes, ranging from international vacations to cars, air fryers, lawnmowers and more.

Hello Critter Goat Yoga

While yoga has many animal-inspired positions, there aren’t many classes that invite the actual animals to join the activity, let alone goats. The event is open to all levels of yoga enthusiasts and people who simply want to go for the goats. Attendees should note that the class is interactive and that the goat could be jumping and running underneath several different poses, so bring a sense of humor and get ready to tap into your inner child. It’s advised that guests wear something that protects their skin in case a goat jumps on. Hoodies, hats, and hair ties are also recommended for those who prefer not to have their hair nibbled on by goats.

Esotouric’s True Crime Historical Tour: The Black Dahlia, Skid Row Slashers and more

Whether you’re a true crime buff, internet sleuth, history fan, an avid student of media, or a housing advocate, Esotouric’s Human Sacrifice tour explores how all of these things intersect in Los Angeles’ Skid Row. Join historians Kim Cooper and Richard Schave, featured in “Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel,” and their special guest, true crime author and commentator Joan Renner, for a historical tour in Downtown Los Angeles. The event will explore three notorious cases, including the kidnapping and murder of Beth Short in 1947, the serial killing of seven unhoused men by Vaughn Greenwood between December 1974 and January 1975, and Elisa Lam’s disappearance and drowning while staying at the Stay on Main hostel inside the Hotel Cecil in 2013.

Operation City Quest

If you’re looking for a family-friendly idea that gets physically active and mentally stimulating, check out Operation City Quest. The photo scavenger hunt helps you and your team of companions explore the city with a series of riddles and challenges, all done through a smartphone over two hours and an estimated two-mile distance. Scavenger hunters will look for the item described in the riddle, complete the accompanying challenge and send in a photo to get points. The points will show up on the app’s leaderboard and show your team how you compared to teams all across the country. If your team gets stumped on a challenge, a remote host will be available to communicate via chat on the app to help with questions and offer hints and additional mystery challenges.

One of the most breathtaking views of Los Angeles is from the top of Mt. Hollywood, but hiking it yourself can be a little tedious. Sunset Ranch Hollywood offers spectators a horseback ride to get a 360° view of Los Angeles, including the famous Hollywood Sign, the ocean and valleys. There is also an evening tour option if you’re looking to catch the beautiful sunset the tour is known for.
