Los Angeles County is included in an updated wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 8:51 a.m. The advisory is in effect until noon.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA adds to anticipate, “Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
