Tree falls across Kester Avenue near post office in Sherman Oaks

A tree fell across Kester Avenue just north of Magnolia Boulevard on Tuesday morning, blocking the road just east of the post office in Sherman Oaks.

The tree formerly stood near the curb on the intersection’s northwest corner, where the USPS’ Sherman Oaks Station is located.

The fallen tree didn’t appear to have damaged any vehicles or caused any injuries.

Yellow caution tape was stretched across Kester Avenue to alert motorists to the toppled tree.
