The Promenade, a once-thriving Woodland Hills mall, is being demolished

The once-thriving mall, the Promenade in Woodland Hills, is slowly being demolished to make way for the Kroenke Organization’s 52-acre development that will be called Rams Village at Warner Center. The first thing to go is the tall trees surrounding the old mall. Only the trees on City of Los Angeles property will be kept. The popular restaurant P.F. Chang’s on Oxnard Street is surrounded by the massive project and will remain open during the demolition of the mall.

Kroenke bought the Promenade Mall in 2022, and more recently the company unveiled plans for the site: a hotel, two huge entertainment venues, residential, retail and office space, and a hotel. The two entertainment venues will have 7,500 seats in total for concerts, awards shows and other major events.

The Rams Village will also have the Los Angeles Rams’ permanent headquarters, but for now the Rams are using the nearby former Anthem building. The Rams are planning for two full-sized outdoor grass fields and a 150,000-square-foot indoor practice field with seating for 2,500.
