The Offspring are coming to the Kia Forum in Inglewood in August

The Offspring is adding a Southern California stop to their Supercharged World Tour.

Fans of the “Pretty Fly” band can catch their performance alongside Jimmy Eat World and New Found Glory on Aug. 29 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood.

Tickets for the show will start with a Citi presale beginning Tuesday, March 4 at 10 a.m., followed by an artist presale on Wednesday, March 5 at 10 a.m. For complete presale details, visit citientertainment.com. Additional presales will run throughout the week before the general sale beginning Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m. via LiveNation.com.

The tour comes at the heels of success for the group, who released their 11th studio album “Supercharged” in October. Their hit “Make It All Right” reached #1 on the Alternative Rock Chart, Alternative Airplay Chart, Active Rock Chart and the Billboard Rock & Alternative Airplay Chart.

“We’re very stoked with the success. You always hope that it’s going to happen, but you never know. We’re super-stoked with how well the song has done and how well the whole record’s been doing so far,” Noodles said in an interview with USA Today.

The Offspring formed in Garden Grove in 1984, with lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland and lead guitarist Noodles often balancing school and work along with their rock star ambitions. They signed to Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz’s independent label, Epitaph Records, to release their second album, “Ignition,” in 1992.

Then, in 1994, they released “Smash,” putting the band on the Billboard 200 with iconic hits such as “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem,” and “Gotta Get Away.” It became the first album on Epitaph to garner gold and platinum (later multi-platinum) status in several countries.

Last year, the Orange County-based group celebrated 40 years together and the 30th anniversary of “Smash” by performing the entire album at a hometown show at Honda Center, which was part of the venue’s 30th anniversary celebration.
