Take an early peek at the colorful Hollywood Christmas Parade

Organizers of the Dec. 1 Hollywood Christmas Parade held a news conference at the Ovation Hollywood on Monday, Nov. 25 to discuss the latest information on the event, and it was a wonderful chance for families and others to enjoy a preview of the colorful singers, musicians, and dancers who will seen in the 92nd Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade.

Parade co-host Laura McKenzie and Los Angeles City Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez spoke and Santa Claus arrived in a mini-sleigh.

More than a news conference, it was a show of its own, with the Pava World Korean Traditional Band performing, and traditional lion dancers in their colorful costumes. Members of the Gevorkian Dance Company held the attention of the media and onlookers, while sleepy “pandas” enjoyed the atmosphere, and a Chinese face-changing, or “bian-lian” dancer prepared to perform.

For many, the holiday season starts with the 92nd Hollywood Christmas Parade Supporting Marine Toys for Tots. This year’s grand marshal is actor, musician, and philanthropist Jeremy Renner, known for his films including Avengers: Endgame and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Renner will lead the parade as it celebrates its legacy of fun and community.

The parade starts on Dec. 1 at 6 pm. Red carpet arrivals will show up between 4 pm and 5:30 pm. The parade promises 90 Hollywood celebrities and VIPs, 16 live pre-parade and parade performances, and 12 award-winning marching bands.
