Renee Zellweger’s former 9-acre Topanga estate lists for under $8 million

A Spanish ranch-style home, formerly owned by Academy Award-winning actress Renée Zellweger, is on the market in Topanga for $7.995 million.

The 4,414-square-foot residence has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Its living spaces showcase old-world craftsmanship, including Venetian-plastered arches, hand-painted Spanish tiles and wood-burning fireplaces built by a European stonemason.

Zellweger bought the secluded 9.75-acre-plus ranch in April 2015 for $3.35 million, using trustee Bruce Weber, records show, to keep her name private. After a down to the studs rebuild, the actress sold the property in October 2021 for $6.4 million.

The identity of the current owner is unknown, but a California limited partnership whose certificate on file with the Secretary of State features the signature of Naty Saidoff, founder of Capital Foresight Investment.

Nestled behind a gated driveway, rustic terrain surrounds the white stucco house with a terracotta roof.

Inside, the foyer features a round chandelier hanging from the high ceiling, a Saltillo tile floor and a geometric dormer window in the shape of a barbed quatrefoil above the double glass entry doors.

Large windows fill the smooth white stucco interior with natural light, complemented by wood beams, stone and hardwood flooring.

The floor plan includes a sunken living room with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, a separate dining room, media room and a small office with built-in bookshelves.

In the open gourmet kitchen, there’s a large island with bar seating, top-of-the-line appliances, metal cabinets and a breakfast area.

The great room opens to the stone-tiled patio, pool and spa and fire pit. Canyon and mountain views abound from most areas in the house, including the primary suite. The property also features multiple meadows, expansive lawns and hiking trails.

A three-car garage rounds out the offering.

Carl Gambino and John Bercsi of the Gambino Group at Compass share the listing.
