The Port of Los Angeles is now accepting applications for its 2025 Summer Internship Program for college-enrolled students.
The application period ends March 28.
The program is open to current graduate and undergraduate students, and provides hands-on experience working at one of the world’s busiest ports. Assignment opportunities include fields such as engineering, finance, marketing and real estate.
The 10-week program runs from June 16 to Aug. 22. Interns may work up to 40 hours per week and should be available for in-person work during regular business hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Depending on what grade they’re in, summer interns make from $17.28 to $21.51 per hour, with student engineers getting $22.11 to $35.01 per hour.
