Singer Debbie Gibson will perform the grand finale of the 2025 Rose Parade, officials announced Thursday, Nov. 14.
Gibson, who made it big in the 1980s with hits like “Foolish Beat” and “Lost in Your Eyes,” will perform on the center of the Mansion Entertainment Group float.
“In the time-honored tradition of female icons like Natalie Cole, Chaka Khan, Tanya Tucker, LeeAnn Rimes, Jordin Sparks, Lainey Wilson and Michelle Williams who have graced the Rose Parade, I can’t wait to be a part of making this year’s parade the best day ever!” said Gibson in a statement.
Since her early chart-topping hits, Gibson has continued to write and perform.
Her annual “Winterlicious” holiday tradition returns in December with residencies in Los Angeles and New York and two additional shows this year in Florida. A memoir is in the works.
Tournament organizers said Gibson embodies the spirit of the parade’s theme for 2025, “Best Day Ever!”
The grand finale will commence after a parade led by Grand Marshal Billie Jean King.
