The popular augmented reality app, Pokémon Go, has begun its Los Angeles tour stop at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
The fan event is happening Friday, Feb. 21 through Sunday, Feb. 23. Tickets are $30 to attend the event, which spanned from the stadium to the grounds of the Brookside at the Rose Bowl.
The app first launched on July 6, 2016, and was an instant hit among fans of the popular franchise.
Pokémon Go allows users to catch their favorite Pokémon, but unlike other games, in order to do so they need to explore the world around them.

In order to find Pokémon, collect items and partake in raids, users need to walk around and visit Pokéstops and Gyms which are selected from real world landmarks.
While the game can be played individually, the experience is enhanced by working together with other players. Because of this, Pokémon Go began launching community events, the Pokémon Go Tour and Pokémon Go Fest, to encourage users to gather in central locations for limited time opportunities to catch rare Pokémon.
Unique in-person experience for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles include exploring real life Pokémon habitats, photo ops with popular characters such as Pikachu and team lounges where guests can relax, meet other players and even partake in trivia.
