Pasadena hosting community meeting on future of former Lake Ave. Kaiser-Permanente site

The city of Pasadena, Thursday, March 27, is set to host a community meeting to gather input from the community about the future of a former Kaiser Permanente-owned property on North Lake Avenue.

In 2023, the city purchased the 2.38-acre site located at the Lake Avenue and Villa Street, which had been used for outpatient and administrative services.

The community event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Avenue Church, 393 N. Lake Ave., where city officials will provide information about potential development, the North Lake Specific Plan and hear from residents about what they’d like to see at the location.

The site had sat vacant for 10 years before the county and city came together to work on how to use the location.

Parking for the event will be available in the church parking lot and the meeting will be held on the second floor of the Family Life Center.
