A grand opening is set for the end of March for the newest Nothing Bundt Cakes location, and the bakery will be hosting charity events and offering specials as part of the celebration.
The latest location of the growing chain, which is known for its sweet, colorful and decorated cakes topped with thick frosting, opened its doors March 7 at 526 W. Huntington Drive.
The grand opening celebrations start Monday, March 24 with Community Appreciation Days with people in selected fields receiving a 20% discount on cake purchases on designated days through March 27. Monday discounts will go to healthcare workers, Tuesday is for teachers and school staff, Wednesday is first responders and military day and Thursday is for city employees.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. March 28 with 20% of sales donated to local relief funds for those impacted by the Eaton Fire. The grand opening celebrations end March 29 with a family party that will include a magician and free, personal-size Bundt cake while supplies last.
Founded in 1997, the Dallas-based company has more than 660 franchised and corporate bakeries in more than 40 states and Canada.
