Man found dead inside car in North Hollywood, shot multiple times

A man in his 40s was found fatally shot inside a car in North Hollywood on Saturday, Oct. 20.

The shooting occurred around 2:20 p.m. in the 11900 block of Chandler Boulevard. Officers found the man sitting in the driver’s seat suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead by paramedics, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.

Details about the victim were not released, pending notification to his family.

No further information about the shooting or any suspect or possible motive was released.
