Man fatally shot at homeless encampment in Panorama City

A man was fatally shot at a homeless encampment in Panorama City.

Los Angeles police officers were sent to Orion Avenue and Rayen Street at about 10:50 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11.

“When officers arrived, they found the victim in an encampment on an embankment of the 405 Freeway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds,” a LAPD statement said.

The man, in his 30s, died at a hospital.

“No arrests have been made and there is no suspect information at this time,” the police statement said.
