Man, 37, stabbed to death at Canoga Park apartment complex

A 37-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Canoga Park was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

Officers were sent to an apartment complex on the 7500 block of Vassar Avenue about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The wounded man died at the scene, police said.

He was later identified by the medical examiner’s office as George Anthony Navarro.

A man in his 20s, described as a possible suspect, was being sought in connection with the crime, police said. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 877-LAPD-247.
