Los Angeles County placed under a heat advisory until Saturday evening

Los Angeles County is the focus of a heat advisory released at 8:53 p.m. on Tuesday by the National Weather Service. The advisory is in effect until Saturday Aug. 8, at 8 p.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA informs, “Very warm temperatures of 90 to 105 degrees expected.”

“Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses,” according to the NWS.
