Central Ventura County Valleys, Los Angeles County Beaches and Southeastern Ventura County Valleys are under a wind advisory which was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 10:26 p.m. The advisory is valid for Sunday, Mar. 2 between noon and 9 p.m.
According to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA, “West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
