Letters: Democrats are out of touch, that’s why they lost

On Wednesday, the day after the election, David Axelrod, former member of the Obama administration, made the statement on CNN that this election was about racism and gender bias.

This statement exposes how out of touch the Democratic party is with everyday Joe Lunchbox or the common man and woman in this great country.

This election was about a stagnant economy, overburdened with taxes and government regulations.

It was about an open border where the drug cartels operate with impunity.

It was about an inept administration that botched the evacuation from Afghanistan where 13 brave members of our military died.

It was about rising crime in our cities where citizens are afraid to walk the streets or subway.

Lastly, this election was about a tone deaf administration that failed to listen to the American people and understand their frustration over their inept policies centered around woke and DEI.
