A hit-and-run crash in North Hills damaged at least 10 parked vehicles on Friday night, March 21, police say.
Officers responded to multiple calls about a collision at 10:40 p.m. on the 8500 block of Columbus Avenue, Los Angeles police Officer Charles Miller said.
Police found that a white pickup had crashed into several vehicles before two males, the driver and a passenger, fled the scene on foot, Miller said. No ages or descriptions were released.
The Los Angeles Fire Department treated one person at the scene for minor injuries, Miller said.
Footage from the scene by RMG News, a freelance videographer, showed a row of parked cars damaged to varying degrees. A crowd of residents gathered on the sidewalk to survey the mess.
Police have not yet determined how fast the suspect was driving or what led to the crash, Miller said.
The pickup was impounded, and LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division is handling the investigation. No arrests had been made as of Saturday morning.
