Hell’s Kitchen at Harrah’s Resort Southern California in Valley Center will offer cooking classes to help guests sharpen their culinary skills and see if they have what it takes to wear the iconic pitchfork apron.
Visitors and foodies alike are invited to a Gordon Ramsay-esque holiday cooking course taught by the restaurant’s executive chef, John Silva, on Tuesday, Dec. 10 and Tuesday, Dec. 17. The two-and-a-half-hour class will teach participants how to create signature items from the Hell’s Kitchen menu, such as Beef Wellington, Sticky Toffee Pudding, a holiday cocktail and more.
Tickets for the course are available to guests 21 and older and are $250 at harrahssocal.com.
Hell’s Kitchen opened at Harrah’s Resort, Southern California, in August 2022, the first of its kind in California. Chef Christina Wilson, winner of the 10th season of Ramsay’s reality TV cooking competition “Hell’s Kitchen, helped open the restaurant in place of Ramsay, who was traveling to film the reality TV series “MasterChef.”
In February 2023, the British celebrity chef and restaurateur made his first official visit to Hell’s Kitchen restaurant to film an episode for the series. The production crew set up shop at the property for a few days and had a 22-hour shoot day. When the 17th episode of season 13, dubbed “Restaurant Takeover,” premiered in September 2023, Harrah’s Resort Southern California celebrated the property’s first cameo in the series with a watch party open to its guests and the public.
The Valley Center location is the largest restaurant of its kind. Other locations include the Las Vegas restaurant located in Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip, which celebrated its fifth anniversary in February 2023. Other locations are in Washington, D.C., Atlantic City and Lake Tahoe.
