A fire damaged the building that used to house Rusty’s Hacienda Mexican restaurant Wednesday in the North Hollywood area, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 6400 block of Lankershim Boulevard at 1:18 p.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story structure in 17 minutes, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
